Teenbridge Project is a project that was set up in 2002 and works with 11-23 year olds in the Teignmouth, Dawlish, Kingsteignton, Bovey Tracey and Heathfield areas, we also have the GAP bus - a mobile youth centre - to serve young people in rural Teignbridge. The Teenbridge Project's stated aim is "the advancement of the education of children and young people through support and mentoring in schools, colleges and other educational establishments. Through lunchtime and after school clubs, street based youth work and other youth provision to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities, that they may grow to full maturity as individuals, and that their condition of life may be improved. To demonstrate, promote and encourage Christian values including dignity, respect, empowerment and partnership to all young people and to promote and encourage positive Christian living". It is a registered charity No 1100597 and is an affiliated member of British Youth for Christ. There are currently 3 paid workers and 23 adult volunteers.
