The Sea Cadet Corps is a voluntary youth organisation for boys and girls with fully enrolled Sea Cadet members who are aged between 12-18 years old and Junior Cadets 10 -12 and there are eight units here in Devon. When authorised some units have marine cadet detachments from the age of 13 years. The Corps is open to all regardless of sex, religion and race and is a Charity that runs on a nautical theme and is closely linked with the Royal Navy and it's customs.
